Riverbranch is a part of the heart of Henrik Ågren, Swedish musician born in Uppsala, a city north of Stockholm; but resident in Barcelona since 2002.

Riverbranch holds deep and sad melodies, profound if you will. The songs speak directly to hearts. The texts deeply root us, to a feeling, to a place, to a person.

This is colorful music distilled by fundamental experiences, rich in influences. Some call it Swedish Folk Soul.     
                             
The debut album Homeward was written and recorded entirely in a cabin in the Swedish woods where Henrik went to live for a while.

Talented people hang around talented people, so it didnt take long before bassplayer and producer Emett Fox took the project under his wing and produced Homeward, he later became part of the live setting.

Instrumentalist and well known DJ Benjapoon Kruthanooch from LA jumped onboard with keys and guitar. Edu Evia, drummer and percussionist, has a very extended performance portfolio, some of them being Shinoflow and The Virginals.

Cherry on the talent pie would come to be Beth Trollan, Jazz/Soul singer from Brooklyn.

Riverbranch is now based in the metropolis Barcelona.
