Imarhan is one of the strong faces of Tamanrasset’s musical scene.

Three albums with City Slang, more than 500 concerts on five continents, and a clear line: playing a music rooted, without posture or folklore.

In 2026, the band returned with a fourth album, recorded at their studio Aboogie, in the heart of the city. A tense, dry record, crossed by the local scene. Not to represent or illustrate, but because that’s where it plays, where it is built.

The sound is raw, tight, without detours. No storytelling. Just a group that digs its furrow, without trying to explain.

European tour in 2025, with a stop at Africa Express, the travelling music factory of Damon Albarn. And then a world tour in 2026. Not to wear a banner. Just to play.
